Controversial singer Willy Paul has addressed the reason he had socialite Shakilla arrested on Monday, October 12 while at his residence.
Taking to social media, the former gospel singer revealed that he was informed by his estate security guards of a lady forcing her way into his house, and on arriving he discovered it was Shakilla.
The singer who also shared details of the OB Number added that he called the police, who arrested Shakilla for trespassing.
Willy Paul mentioned that he gave the CCTV footage of what happened at his residence to the police, and names of people Shakilla disclosed she was working for, for further investigations.
He asked for prayers for his young family, adding that he no longer feels safe.
Posts seen by 254news.co.ke on the teenage socialite’s page reveal that she had been detained, but did not divulge any further details.
“I’ve been released on bail and I have a story to tell, a really interesting one that is. Let me eat and spill the bitter tea,” she wrote in one of her Instagram stories after being released on bail hours after her arrest.
Willy Paul also shared CCTV footage of what transpired in his house leading to Shakilla’s arrest, as he insisted that he does not know the socialite, and she should stop associating with him.
Shakilla exploded to the limelight after she confessed having sexual relations with 15 celebrities including Willy Paul, fellow artist Ringtone Apoko, rapper Khaligraph Jones and Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama.
Willy Paul fired back at Shakila after the accusations, stating that Kenyans should not mistake his silence for weakness.
“Yes, she is a teenager but what’s underneath is 97 years. Don’t mistake me for my silence” he disclosed on Wednesday, September 30.
Wanyama on Tuesday, September 29 threatened to sue her and controversial blogger Arthur Mandela, alias Xtian Dela owing to defamatory claims.
“I wish to distance myself completely from the contents of this defamatory video. The allegations made therein are a total fabrication and a figment of the maker’s imagination at best.” he began through his statement.
“I have never met any party in the video. I strongly condemn the actions of both the woman in the video and the publisher of the video Arthur Mandela, via his Instagram account @Xtiandela, for encouraging the disparagement of character of the individuals based on false accusatory statements,” he added.
