Homeboyz Radio programmes controller Shaffie Weru revealed on Sunday August 2 that he is not getting married.
Speaking to Mpasho News on a live session on Instagram, Shaffie disclosed that his mother and aunties gave up on him getting married.
“I think that was never for me and will never happen. I tried na imekataa (and it refused),” he began.
“I know people really wanna see me do the walk down the aisle and everything, but if I’ve never gone on a date for the last four to five years, you guys are still waiting for me to get married? Really?” he added.
Shaffie also disclosed that he finds women who shoot their shots attractive. He added that he wants to be married.
“If you’re the type of person, you come with a good vibe because I’ll never do it. Let the women come and do it,” he said.
Shaffie isn’t the only celebrity who has given up on getting married.
Classic 105 presenter Maina Kageni revealed through his morning show on Friday July 17 that he would not be walking down the aisle anytime soon.
He spoke to Mwalimu King’ang’i about how marriage ends up getting boring to a point of looking at each other like siblings.
“Never ever, so that I end up staying with someone who is like my sister? The things women go through just to look good for a man only for him to say he sees you like a sister!” he told Mwalimu King’ang’i.
Maina reiterated that he has no plans of having marital issues or having to fake his feelings. The popular presenter as a result announced that he will not be introducing any lady to his fans.
“I find it crazy. Men are the most selfish people in the world. Why didn’t they say it from the word go that such things happen. They should so that someone can know what they are getting themselves into.” he went on.
