DP Ruto allies now claim that Huduma Number Is Foreigner’s And Not Kenyan Youth Product.
Just before dust settles on the issuance of Huduma Namba Cards that happened during the 11th Mashujaa Day celebrations at Gusii Stadium in Kisii County where President Uhuru Kenyatta, his wife Margaret Kenyatta and 10 other Kenyans received their Huduma Namba Cards whose national roll out awaits parliamentary processing of Data Commissioner, his Deputy William Ruto who had earlier claimed that Huduma Namba Card is being used to rig 2022 Presidential election is now saying that the “Huduma Number is not entirely a Kenyan Youth Product” as President Kenyatta would want Kenyans to believe.
On Friday last week, President Kenyatta had applauded innovative young Kenyans who had revolutionised the tech-world.
According to a section of individuals aligned to him, the Huduma Number is a product of foreign company.
“The top leadership of the company was in Nairobi on Friday 11th September for the first meeting and stayed over the weekend for another meeting on Monday 14th September, 2020.” Dennis Itumbi claimed on his social media posts.
Adding that “The Foreigners and NIS jointly agreed to start roll-out of the card on 15th October, 2020.”
He also alleged that, “The cost of implementation is being paid through NIS – Shs. 7b” an amount no Kenyan youth company is being paid.
DP Ruto’s team are further alleging that the Huduma Number is one of the tools to be used to win the referendum.
With only President Kenyatta, his wife Margaret and ten other Kenyans getting the Huduma number, the bitterness of Tanga Tanga team is likely to pile up in the coming days as already evidenced from a section of them.
