That the late Ken Okoth was a darling of the voters both in Kibra and beyond is an irrefutable fact. Ken dared the modern day populists whose political strategy is to impoverish the already poor Kenyans so that the credulous masses are often at the mercy of fraudsters purporting to be leaders when nothing could be further from the truth.

The heedless majority have made it so easy for frauds to continue dipping their hands into the public coffers and bribe them for support when the truth is that more Kenyans continue to wallow in abject poverty while the thieves and populist in key government positions make merry in the leafy suburbs, wondering around in high end cars and dishing out chump change as a way of controlling the naive compact majority.

Unless you have just been dropped from the moon this morning, this retrogressive philosophy is the tool used by many political class in Kenya. According to them, destitution is the easiest way to retain and control the masses.

Details have now emerged of how Mike Sonko was using Nominated Nairobi County Assembly MCA Ann Nthumbi to “fix” the late Ken Okoth. Governor Sonko was so scared of the performance of Ken Okoth in Kibra and felt so threatened has Ken decided to go for Governorship that he put in place a long concerted plan using Ann to finish him. This explains the stupidity of Sonko at Okoth’s memorial service and is further evidenced by the presence of Ann Nthumbi in Mariga’s campaign team.

While we cannot authoritatively ascertain whether Okoth’s cancer was induced so that he is out of the equation in 2022, the association of Madam Ann with Sonko, DP Ruto and Mariga is suspect including the 9,000 transferred votes from neighboring constituencies in a record time of three months is something that raises eyebrows.

How did someone know Okoth was going to die so that 9,000 voters asked to transfer their votes to Kibra?
The question that now begs for an answer is, how did Ann Nthumbi help Sonko fix Ken?
