Alego-Usonga MP Sam Atandi has fearlessly attacked Rift Valley MPs for daring the Luo community on their move to join the government. This follows Oscar Sudi’s remarks that ODM Party Leader Rt Hon Raila Odinga should continue playing the role of opposition leader.
The angry MP reminded Kapsaret MP Mr Oscar Sudi that Luos are not designed to be in the opposition forever.
“Luos are not designed to be in the opposition throughout. We are now inside the government and we do not regret,” he said
“Raila does not need government job to be powerful. He is a self-made famous leader” he added.
While addressing the fight against corruption, Atandi said, “Corruption has reached unprecedented levels hence the need for those who want to lead this country to wage a vicious war against graft,”
Adding that “Those who looted government coffers and hid through proxies will be unearthed soon”
Mr Atandi spoke while presiding over a function in his constituency earlier this week.
