Controversial Mbita member of parliament Hon Millie Odhiambo stirred up debate on Facebook when she took to her Facebook page to “advice” young people not to use their connection and access to politicians to advance their sexual desires but rather take up the challenge to work hard.
The outspoken and controversial MP said that many youths today chase after politicians on social media platforms and that she has so many of such “suitors”. She reiterated that if she was to have an affair, it would definitely not be with one of the many young men who inbox her on her social media platforms.
“Get it off your mind that having sexual liaison with leaders will make you wealthy. Work hard and be a leader in any field you choose instead,” she wrote.
This comes a few days after MPs raised alarm in the national assembly over women and men who have their contacts and use them to send them nude pictures as well as make sexual advances towards them.
The MP also delved into the issue of her childlessness saying that she is comfortable and that God has given her a special gift of loving children who are not hers. She however hinted that she is thinking of having a child at 53 or 55 years saying that “Sarah did it at 100 anyway”
